George Smith Bunker, 63, who j was born in 3anta Clara March ! 31. 1873. a son of Edward Bun- ker and Emily Abbot Bunker, Dix-- Dix-- ie pioneers, died at his home in Vineyard early Wednesday morn-i morn-i ing. Mr. Bunker had lived at I Santa Clara for many years and J later moved to Buukerville. He married Isabelle McArthur, October 31, who survives him. Mr. Bunker was one of the active ac-tive workers in the Vineyard ward, and had always worked in the , auxiliary organizations and priest-'. priest-'. hood quorums throughout his I 1'fo. He was chairman of the gen-j gen-j ealogical committee of the Utah i and later the Sharon Stakes and J worked as superintendent of the M. I. A. and Sunday schools. At ,' the time of his death he was chairman chair-man of the high priests' class in Vineyard. Mr. and Mrs. James Bunker, Mr. and Mrs. James McArthur, Mr. and Mrs. D. Joseph McArthur, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. McArthur, Moroni McArthur and Mrs. Wayne Gardner attended the fun-', fun-', era! services at Provo last Gun-t Gun-t day. |
