Show Rockville Mrs. Phtletiis Jones Reporter Mr. and Mrs. Ross Angell returned re-turned here Wednesday from Los Angeles, where they have lived the past two years. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Irwin spent Saturday in St. George on business. busi-ness. Mrs. Arch Ballard underwent a major operation at the Iron county hospital Thursday. Site is doing nicely. Abner Demill spent the weekend week-end home from his school in St. George. Mrs. Floyd Demill and daughter and Mrs. Oscar Demill motored to Provo last week to get Miss Iona Demill, who has finished her beauty school. Miss Rae Hirschi also returned with them. Louise Demill spent the weekend week-end home from her school work in Cedar City. Clarence Lemmon is ill in the Cedar hospital with pneumonia. Marion Terry and Heber Hirschi spent Tuesday in St. George on business. Lawrence Moody is home again after spending some time working in the mines at Bristol. Nev. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Day of Long Beach, Calif., are here visiting visit-ing her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Jennings. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Mahan and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Virg Averett and sons spent Sunday Sun-day visiting in Long Valley. Miss Thelma Stapley of Cedar City is here visiting her grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. Alice Russell, who has been quite sick. Glen Graff is home again after attending the W.P.A. school for recreation in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Blake and children visited her mother, and father. Mr. and Mrs. David Terry, on Sunday. Barr Musser of St. George is here remodeling the old Montgomery Mont-gomery service station and he expects to open it soon. A stork shower was given Mrs. PwUth Stout last Wednesday afternoon. after-noon. Many nice gifts were given. A nice lunch was served after which games were played. |
