Show Contracts Issued To College Faculty Members Contracts have been issued to the following people as members of the Dixie junior college faculty for next year: Glenn E. Snow, president; B. Glen Smith, dean of men, and head of department of education; Joseph W. McAllister, head of department of vocal music; Arthur K. Hafen, director of division of humanities; Earl J. Bleak, head of band and orchestra; H. L. Reid, director of division of social sciences; Leland Hafen, head of department of physical education; M. M. Bentley, head of business department; Linna Snow, dean of women; Marian Alhstrom. instructor in typing and shorthand; short-hand; M. J. Miles, director of division of physical sciences; P. D. Spilsbury, head of department of agriculture, Ellis Everett, instructor instruc-tor in mathematics and physics; Ralph Huntsman, head of department depart-ment of art; Charles M. Merkley, head of department of mechanical arts; Evy Rean Cox, stenographer, and R. Urie Macfarlane, Custodian. Custo-dian. Teachers who officiated here this year, who are resigning are: Dr. D. Elden Beck, head of the department of biology, who will be at the Brigham Young university univer-sity next year; John T. Woodbury, dean of men, who intends to study law; Emma Neilsen, instructor in home economics, who will attend school and Clara Woodhouse, who has not announced her plans for the coming year. Lloyd Shields, instructor in physical education, and Mrs. Anne P. Robinson, head of department of home economics, are undecided as to what they will do. The vacancies caused by these resigning faculty members will be filled in the near future. |
