Show Short Creek, Ariz. Mrs. I. W. Carling Reporter Warren and Millard Black made a business trip to Fredonia Saturday. Satur-day. George Black, Wilma Black and Edna Nyborg visited at Canaan Ranch Saturday evening. A surprise party was held at the home of Mrs. Leonard Black in honor of Lizzie Colvin, it being her sixty-fifth birthday anniversary. anniver-sary. Mrs. Annie G. Lauritzen has been quite ill, but she is improving improv-ing at present. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Johnson and Terry Childers from the Glen Johnson saw mill on Kiabab; Vera Spencer, of Kanab and Naomi Carling, who is attending school at Fredonia, were visitors here Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Julia Little returned Monday Mon-day from a two-week's visit in California. Two of our boys won the only two awards offered to boys at the Fredonia high school. George Black won the athletic award and James N. Cox won the activity award. Warren Black made a trip to Cedar City Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Alfonso Nyborg and family left Monday for St. George to consult a doctor. Mrs. Nyborg has been ailing for the past few weeks. |
