Show Rockviiie Mrs. Philetns Jones Reporter Howard Hirschi returned from Orange, Calif, last week-end, where he visited for two weeks with Mr. and Mrs. John Swartz-bough. Swartz-bough. David Timothy of St. George is here visiting his daughter, Mrs. Marvin Terry and family. Mrs. Alice Russell has been ill for the past week. There have been a number of people sick and a few cases of mumps are in town. Clayton Hirschi is slowly convalescing con-valescing after a severe throat ailment. A good game of baseball was played Sunday evening between the CCC from Zion Park and the town team. The score was in favor of Rockviiie. Henry Gubler, Mr. Asey and Wickley Gubler of La Verkin were speakers on genealogical work in sacrament meeting. Very good talks were given by them. Mrs. Virgil Averett entertained a group of friends at a Pinochle party Saturday evening. High honors went to Mrs. Irving Dalton and Russell Mahan, Sherman Russell returned from Cedar City Sunday where he was employed for a week. Miss Thelma Stapley, his niece, came down for a visit. Keith Terry is still on the sick list. Lowell Terry returned to the Stout saw mill after spending the week-end at home. |
