Show Santa Clara Miss Laura Gubler Reporter The Swiss camp of the D. U. P.'s held a meeting Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Archie Gubler. Gub-ler. The lesson was "England's Contribution to Utah". The county coun-ty officers present from St. George were Mrs. George Lytle, Mrs. Hazel Bradshaw, and Mrs. John Pace. Visitors were Mrs. Marcell Schmutz and Mrs. Ros-ena Ros-ena Blake. Mrs. Selena Hafen left Wednesday Wed-nesday to spend several weeks at Hurricane with her daughter, Mrs. Keith Tobler. L. J. Graff returned from Fish Lake, Utah from a five-day elk hunt. Mrs. Val Rose left Saturday for Las Vegas to s pe n d several months. Mrs. John Ott from Tropic, Utah, came here Sunday to visit at the home of her son, Gernsy Ott. Mr. and Mrs. John Jensen and son of Mesquite; were visitors here Wednesday with their daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Reed Wittwer. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Wittwer from Beaver, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Reber from Washington and Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Beatty of Las Vegas and their children were visitors here Sunday and Monday with relatives. Mrs. Clawson Frei is improving improv-ing after being confined to her home with heart disease. Lois Whipple from Sigurd came Sunday for an indefinite stay with her sister, Mrs. June Gubler. |
