Show Mrs. Alma Nelson Reviews Life and Writings Of Count Leo Tolstoi ' The large assembly of associated local literary club members as well as many people of the community com-munity enjoyed a complete diversion diver-sion last Sunday evening, when Mrs. Alma Nelson reviewed the life and writings of Count Leo Tolstoi. Contrasting the conditions in Russia, especially politically, of today and when Count Tolstoi was forging ahead with his literary work, Mrs. Nelson brought out many interesting thoughts. Perhaps Tolstoi, more than any of his time, visualized what the future would develop in his people. The next book review, scheduled schedul-ed for March 9, will offer the public another instructive and interesting in-teresting variation, when Ross Hardy, head of the biology department de-partment of the Dixie junior college, col-lege, will present "Snakes Alive" an illustrated lecture on the reptilian rep-tilian life of the west, with his department exhibit. |
