Show St. George Stake Union Meeting Held Here Saturday, Feb. 24 Union meeting of St. George stake was held Saturday with all departments de-partments holding sessions except the M.I.A. , who meet the first week of each month. Nearly all wards were represented, officers state. The relief society organization, under the direction of Mrs. Rulon Snow, president, stressed the lesson les-son preparation of each department depart-ment and the stake board members mem-bers express appreciation for the large attendance in each of these departments. The bishops and stake welfare workers held sessions , both afternoon after-noon and evening. Special features of their work concerned the present pre-sent unfinished building projects. (Continued on page eight) Stake Union Meeting (Continued from first page) Report was made of the fund drive just began in the south ward during the week and bishops took the project back to their respective wards. Teachers and officers of the children's primary organization report a good attendance from all departments. Group work in the various department subjects was conducted, followed by a general play period in the elementary school gym. Child participation is the theme of the primary program pro-gram for March. The Sunday school held forth in the south ward chapel with a large attendance. For a second time the stake banner was awarded award-ed to the Enterprise Sunday school for having the nearest 100 per cent of active membership supplied with leaflets and instructors. in-structors. Washington ward came second and Leeds ward third. The stake Sunday school board expresses ex-presses appreciation for the excellent ex-cellent cooperation the wards are giving and for the help of the membership in the recent picture show "The Under Pup" which they sponsored. They also appreciate ap-preciate the kindness of the Gaiety Theatre management in allowing them the use of the play as a fund accumulator. The stake missionaries met with a fair attendance reported.
