Show Special Young Folks' Day At Temple Reported 'Very Gratifying' To Leaders Th(- spr-cial yount; folks' day at the St. Ceor' Temple Tuesday, evening, July 9, brought more than gratifying results, say the stake K'-nealoy hoard, who had the excursion ex-cursion in charge. The date was set aside for the St. George stake, although those coming from other stakes were cordially received. Especially devoted to this service ser-vice was the Tuesday evening session, ses-sion, which was attended only by member's of the St. George stake with a record of 272 present, according ac-cording to Pres. Harold S. Snow. J This may not be the largest num-1 her in any special session, says President Snow, but it is the , largest excursion from one stake J for a long period. The session was called for those aged 45 and i under and the large attendance! necessitated the handling of two' companies, much to the satisfac-j tion of the sponsors. Following the sessions a brief social was held and light refreshments refresh-ments served. According to the schedule, the Temple will close for the summer vacation Saturday, July 13, reopening late in August. |
