Show Peter Neilson Family Reorganizes On May 1st Fifty local descendants of Peter Neilson of Washington met at the ward Relief Society hall there on j the afternoon of May 1, to effect j a family organization. Little Thelma Neilson played an organ solo. Israel Neilson Sr. related re-lated numerous incidents in the life of his father, Peter Neilson Sr. The following organization was then completed: John T. Neilson, president; Mrs. Israel Neilson Sr., first, and Mrs. LaCisa White, of Venice, Calif., second vice-presidents; with Mrs. Matilda Sorenson, of St. George, secretary, treasurer and historian; Mrs. Vilate Neilson and Mrs. Ella B. Neilson, gene-aologists. gene-aologists. Itha N. Tobler. Caddie H. Neilson and Irene Jolley were appointed as the Temple committee, com-mittee, with Antone Neilson, program pro-gram chairman for the family reunion, re-union, scheduled for some time in 1939. After singing "Do What Is Right", Bp. Wallace Iverson offered offer-ed prayer. The committee in charge then served refreshments. |
