Show IVINS Ivins, Dec. 6. Last Friday night our little town gave a social in honor of Bishop Frei of Santa Clara, who has done so much for this place. A nice program was rendered, games and dancing were indulged in, and a nice lunch served to all. There were about '70 present, many coming from Santa Clara. The Ivins people presented pre-sented him with a nice arm chair, as a token of appreciation for his labors in their behalf, which lie justly deserves. de-serves. Last Sunday Leo A. Snow of the Stake S. S. board, Karl E. Fordham Bishop Frei, Emily Harmon and the Mises Wilkinson met with us in our first Sunday school. Leo Reber was chosen superintendent with Reuben Ence and Rulon Stucki as counselors, and Samuel Gubler secretary. We are very glod to have this organization organiza-tion affected here. They intend to organize a primary and M. I. A. soon. Wallace Mathis, Dr. J. E. Broad-dus, Broad-dus, Editor Wallis and John Stewart were here last Sunday, viewing our scenery, taking photos, etc. Mr. and Mrs. Jos. W. McAllister of St. George were visitors here last Sunday. |
