Show SANTA CLARA Santa Clara, Dec. 7. A number of people from here were invited to the party given in honor of Bishop E. P. Frei at Ivins last Friday night. Bishop Frei was presented with a nice rocking chair in appreciation of what he has done for the building of the new chape! at Ivins. Thanksgiving eve the play entitled "Nell the Waif" was presented under the direction of the M. I. A. The cast all carried their parts very well and it was thoroughly enjoyed by all present. John Ence, Joseph Stucki, Lorin and Frank Reber have returned from Death Valley, Cal., where they have been working the past two months. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Reber, Mr. and Mrs. John M. Stucki and Mr. and Mrs. Ensign Gubler spent inanKsgiving at Overton, Nevada. Ted Lindsey of Idaho spent the week end here visiting. He was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Leav-itt. Leav-itt. Mrs. Rhoda Prince of Hurricane spent the Thanksgiving holidays here with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Leavitt spent Thanksgiving in Cedar City. Mrs. Levi Snow and family of St. George are here visiting. |
