Show WASHINGTON Washington, August, 2G. Levi N. Harmon of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Harmon of St. George weer Sunday visitors here. The Harmons are former Washington boys and have many friends here who are always pleased to welcome them. Mrs. Melissa Turnbeaugh, her daughters, Mrs. Ruth Petersen and Mrs. John Reardon, arrived last week from Richfield where they have spent several months. Mrs. Reardon's home is in Los Angeles, Cal., she is visiting her mother. Elders John T. Woodbury and Walter Cannon of St. George were with us Sunday as home missionaries They gave excellent talks and their visit was appreciated. Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Cooper, Mr. and Mrs. Erasbus Cooper, Mrs. Menia Covington and Mrs. Elizabeth Iver-son Iver-son went to Hurricane Sunday. The Misses Gertrude and Lottie Schunmann, who have been visiting friends here, left Monday for their home in Ogden. Leslie Prince returned Sunday from Cedar mountain where he has been herding sheep. Oscar Carlson and Athol Judd returned re-turned Friday from Richfield. Born, Aug. 15, a son to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Judd. Earl Hall returned Sunday from a trip to Richfield. |
