Show LA VERKIN La Verkin, Aug. 25. Representative Representa-tive James Judd and his wife motored motor-ed to Salt Lake City last Saturday to attend the State Democratic convention conven-tion as delegates. Their son Pinley accompanied them. Sister Hunt of Saint G-eorge who has been visiting at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jos. E. Gubler, returned re-turned to her home last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. J. Edward Gubler left Sunday for Tintic where they have work on the railroad. Issac Hardy who has been very sick with pneumonia the past week is reported recovering. Miss Irene Haslam of Cedar City spent the week end here visiting relatives rela-tives and friends. Mrs. Fern Jackson of Fredonia, Arizona, visited her sister, Mrs. Emil Graff, last week. Mrs. Mary Stapley of Mesa, Ariz., is here visiting with her niece, Mrs. Minnie Wilson. Miss Delia Hardy of Hurricane spent last week here at the William Hardy home. Miss Ruth Cox of Cedar City spent the week end here visiting relatives and friends. Mrs. Wilford Thompson and son Sidney motored to St. George last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. John A. Judd and family motored to Zion canyon last Sunday. |
