Show Make Stop-Pin for Dial From Brass Escutcheon Many of the older makes of variable condensers did not have stops built Into them; so that they may be turned so far that the blank edge of the dial comes opposite the Indicating mark on the panel, and the dial setting cannot can-not be read without retunlng the condenser. con-denser. By cutting away the blank edge of the dial to a depth of about s inch, and leaving only the engraved edge (as shown In the Illustration) a stop-pin can be used, which will prevent pre-vent the dial from getting turned too far.
