Show STRANGE FIND Don A. Lifhtner of this city has some edible locust beans which were" found in a cave east of Parashaunt, near the Colorado river, by a friend of his, Roy Myers of Parowan some time ago. What makes the find strange is the fact that the bean pods are still fresh enough to retain their sweetness, and we do not know of any place in that vicinity where they could have been grown. They are not grown here but may be in some parts of Arizona. These are the regular edible bean, the same as is grown in northern Africa. |
