Show ROCKVILLE Rockville, May 7. School closed here Thursday with an excellent pro gram furnished by the students. The eighth grade graduates were Misses Fae De Mille, Ida Jones, Daisy Jennings, Jen-nings, Anita Barnhurst, June De Mill and Eldon Russell. Miss Pitts, the primary grade teacher, and Glenn Graff, principal, left for their homes at Spanish Fork and Santa Clara last Friday. The Sunday school superintendency were hosts at a May day party last Tuesday. One hundred and ten members mem-bers and visitors of the Sunday school met together at the orchard near Grafton where games and sports were provided for all. Luncheon was served in the grove, finished off with . ice cream. A most enjoyable day was spent. Grant and Miss Leone Langston, Miss I va Hirschi and Miss Evelyn Terry Ter-ry are home from Hurricane where they attended high school during the past winter. Newel K. De Mill, Weldon Jennings, Arvel Russell and the Misses Gladys and Ina De Mill left on May 3 for Zion park lodge where they will be employed this sumlner. Mrs. Milo Hirschi spent the past week here visiting her mother, Mrs. Clara De Mille. Morton Morris of St. George was here on business last week. David Dennett, road supervisor, has a force of men building breakwaters below Grafton. A number of men from here are employed em-ployed in the construction of the new swimming pool at Zion park. |
