The highest high-est total enrollment reached during the term was 021 pupils. A total of 553 pupils wot i: promoted last Friday. Several cantatas were presented during dur-ing the year by the pupils of the different dif-ferent grades. Thexe were all well-attended well-attended and the proceeds went toward paying for the playground equipment installed this spring on the Woodward grounds. This equipment cost the school $:cu and, outside of a donation of $75 by the city, equipment, health examinations of the pupils and other incidental expenses were taken care of by the proceeds from the cantatas. The .school started the term last fall with $0.82 in the treasury. Now there is a balance of over $fi0 after all expenses have been paid. The faculty of the Woodward school wishes to express their appreciation at tills time to the public who helped in any way with the work of the school and who by their attendance at the several entertainments showed their interest in the efforts of the faculty fac-ulty to give the pupils the best. On Wednesday afternoon of last week the third grade pupils-under the direction of their teacher, Miss Tillie Win.sor gave a program which was attended at-tended by 65 patrons. The entire class of 38 pupils, took part in the program. The following promotions were made: First to second grade, 69. Second to third, 65. Third to fourth, 69. Fourth to fifth, 75. Fifth to sixth, 77. Sixth to seventh, 70. Seventh to eighth, 69. Eighth to first year high, 59. Total, 553.
