Show CEDAR VETERANS PLAN TO ERECT $12,000 BUILDING The Cedar City post of the American Am-erican Legion, under its new commander, com-mander, Herbert Milne, has started start-ed a drive to erect a dance hall and club room this summer. At its first meeting, held last' Thursday Thurs-day night, a committee was appointed ap-pointed to arrange a financial plan. Plans have been drawn for the building, which, it is estimated, will cost $12,000 and which will be erected on Legion's property. The plans call for a dome type structure, struc-ture, containing a dance floor 100 by 100 feet, lobbies, dressing, store and rest rooms and a large club room. DAUGHTER OF FORMER HURRICANE RESIDENTS ILL Maxine, the ten-year-old daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew N. Isom of Idaho Falls, former residents of Hurricane, is very seriously ill after eating poisoned dried grapes, and although reported improving, she is not yet out of danger, according to word received from Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Isom moved to Idaho Ida-ho Falls from Hurricane three years ago. |
