Show WALTER SMITH HEADS UTAH COIM AGENTS Elected President of State Association Asso-ciation at Convention Held in Logan Last Week. i 1 In connection with the annual convention of the county agents of Utah, a complete reorganization of the County Agents' Association of Utah was effected at Logan last week. New officers . elected are: W. P. Smith, Washington county, president; pres-ident; Lew Mar PTice, Beaver agent, ag-ent, vice president; C. R. Richards, Morgan, secretary and treasurer. Retiring officers are: A. L. Chris-tensen, Chris-tensen, Weber, president; W. P. Smith and Lew Mar Price, vice-president vice-president and secretary and treasurer, treas-urer, respectively. In the sessions of the convention at the Utah agricultural college, county agents and leaders of the various extension departments were the speakers. Among them were Miss Ellen Agren, district home agent ag-ent for Weber and Morgan counties; coun-ties; W. D. Porter of the extension exten-sion division; W. P. Thomas of the experiment station, and Miss Rena B. Maycock, state home demonstration demonstra-tion leader. It was proposed that district conferences be held in the different centers, the same as last year. Other speakers were E. Peterson, D. P. Murray, and Mrs. Alma Es-plin Es-plin of the college staff. |
