Show TOQUERVILLE Mrs. W. H. -Slack spent the week-end at St. George on account ac-count of a death in the family. Miss Lucile Higbee left Tuesday Tues-day for her home at Logan after visiting with her father Loren Higbee. Mrs. Waldo Lyman and family are here visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Anderson. Kenneth Slack left Wednesday for fait Lake City to attend school this coming winter. Mrs. Jennie Lamb left Saturday Satur-day for Los Angeles on account of the serious condition of her sont Raymond. Our M. I. A. has been reorganized reor-ganized with Clarence Theobald President of the Y. M. M. I. A. R. J. Naegle and Wilmar Anderson Ander-son as counselors; Addie S. Naegle, Nae-gle, president of the Y. L. M. I. A. with Gladys Kleinman and Buelah Kleinman as counselors. Mrs. Harvey Slack and daughter, daugh-ter, Maxine, spent the week-end at Rockville and Zion Canyon. Mrs. W. H. Manning and family fam-ily left Satnurday for Cedar City after spending the summer here. Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Stout of Hurricane spent Sunday visiting at the home of their daughter, Mrs. (Samuel Bringhurst. Mrs. Walter Beatty and family of Zion Park spent Wednesday here visiting relatives. Mrs. Afton Ballard of Rockville Rock-ville spent Friday visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs .Harry Slack. Mrs. Howard Empey of St. George spent last week visiting at the home of her 'parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Bringhurst. Mr. and Jr. Walter Anderson Ander-son and family of Salt Lake City left Thursday for their home after af-ter visiting two weeks here. |
