Show David Hirschi, of Hurricane, was a business visitor in -St. George on Tuesday. Kenneth Snow and son, Wayne returned iSunday from a trip to California. While there they went out on one of the fishing boats and Mr. Snow was fortunate fortun-ate enough to catch a thirty-one and 'one-half pound Tuna, the largest caught that day on the boat, and there-by won the "Jack-Pot" in which each fisherman fish-erman had put twenty-five cents upon going aboard. V. .V. O'. Andrew Winsor and daughters, Misses Tillie and Ruth returned Friday from Provo, where the girls had attended summer school. They left on Monday for the coast, where they will attend j the exposition and spend some j time visiting. They were accom-j accom-j panied by Urie Macfarlane. 'f Mrs. Mildred McKnight left Monday for Springfield to spend the summer. -5v- ofe Andy Avery of Kanosh is receiving re-ceiving treatment at the local hospital. '.i' Mrs. Leona Ray is at the local hospital for treatment. Mrs. Ada Cannon and twenty-nine twenty-nine piano students spent Friday evening at Washington, swimming swim-ming after which lunch was enjoyed. |
