Show SOUTH UTAH CIVIC CLUBS TO HOLD BIG THREE DAY SESSION C. W. Love, Jr., vice-presided of the Associated Civic clubs reports re-ports that every indication is that a large group will attend the next ' meeting of the club which will be held at the V-T Ranch, sixty miles south of Kan-ab Kan-ab in Arizona on "Saturday and Sunday, July 27th and 28th. Ideal weather conditions, coupled with the beautiful setting of the ranch and the trip to the Grand Canyon are some of the attractions attrac-tions for those who attend the meeting. Tentative plans call for a buffalo buf-falo barbecue at noon Sunday and trips through the Kaibab forest and to the Grand Canyon in the afternoon. Guides will be furnished by the park and forest service. State, county and civic officials of Arizona have been invited to meet with the Utah clubs and several have already accepted. The primary purpose of holding the meeting in Arizona is to cement ce-ment a cooperative spirit with the people and organizations of that state. Roads to the V-T ranch are reported re-ported to be in excellent condition condi-tion for travel. Reservations for accomodations and the banquet should be made with either Leo J. Nielson or William Rust, V-T ranch, Arizona. |
