Show SANTA CLARA gAXTA CLARA, Oct. 6. Miss Laura Gubler left last Friday Fri-day for Salt Lake City to attend at-tend conference. Born A daughter to Mr. anr Mrs. Edward R. Frei, Jr., last Thursday at the Washington County hospital. Mrs. Luella Strasser of St. George was a Sunday visitor here. A bridal shower was held for Miss Sylvia Stucki last Friday in the amusement hall. Miss Merle Stucki is spending a few days in St. George. Harvey Stucki has returned from Ely, Nevada, where he spent the summer. Mrs. Jacob Beacham spent several days last week visiting at Enterprise. Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Frei left for Salt Lake City last week. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stucki spent Sunday at Enterprise. Mr. and Mrs. Ether Stucki and family have gone to Cedar. City where Mr. Stucki is teaching school. Clair Hafeu has gone to Carp, Nevada, to spend about six weeks. Miss Barbara Ray who received a bad cut on the leg some time ago, which became infected, is showing some improvement. Mrs. Vivian J. Frei and Mrs. Clair Hafen entertained the Gleaner class at a party last Wednesday night. Superintendent Milton E. Moody Moo-dy and Miss Tillie Winsor, primary pri-mary supervisor, visited the school here Monday. L. J. Graff made a business trip to Cedar City Tuesday. |
