Show MESQUITE Mesquite, Nev., March 8. Charles M. Hardy is at Glendale doing some mason work for Guy Dotey. Walter Hughes was on the job but had to quit on account of ill health. Mrs. Ray Nelson and children left last week for their home at Provo after spending five or six weeks here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lister Leavitt. Mrs. Clara Sylvester returned Sunday Sun-day from Las Vegas where she had been for about two weeks visiting with her daughter, Mrs. Az. Aldridge. Quite a number of people are building new and better chicken houses and are going into the poultry raising business. Bp. Wm, E. Abbott, Jeremy Leavitt Leav-itt and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Pulsipher Pulsiph-er made a business trip to Las Vegas Friday. Earl Hughes left yesterday for Goldfield to join his brother Alvin, who is working on the state highway. Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Hughes spent part of last week in St. George, the former receiving medical aid. Mr. and Mrs. Myron Abbott took their son Laurel to Las Vegas last week for medical aid. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hughes have taken their infant son to Las Vegas for medical attention. Miss Mary Leavitt has gone to Arden to work for Mrs. Lile Coleman. Misses Erma Jones and Helen Carlson Carl-son spent the week end at Overton. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Mine?r spent last week end at Las Vegas. |
