Show FORMER RIXIEITE BRINGS HONOR TO OUR FAIR STATE Few, if any Utahns have brought greater honors to her home state as a student in dramatic art than has Mrs. Grace Nixon Stewart. While studying at the Leland Powers and. the Rice schools of dramatic art in Boston four years ago, her services were sought by several agencies. She served as coach, reader on the Chautauqua and as actress. She then returned to Utah find for one year operated studios in Salt Lake and Provo, but again determined to further study and set her sail for Europe. For two years she studied at the London and Oxford universities, universi-ties, winning many honors for exceptional ex-ceptional charm and ability. In April of last year, she, with 42 other applicants from the various countries of the world, were examined by the London Royal Academy board for the highest diploma awarded for dramatic dram-atic art in England and was fortunate in being one of the three successful candidates, with special recognition being given her teaching qualifications. qualifica-tions.
