Forsyth of New Castle was a business visitor in St. George on Monday. Miss Mattie Pendleton returned on Tuesday from Salt Lake City where she spent the past month. Mrs. Merle Hall left the Washington Washing-ton county hospital Tuesday for her home at Hurricane. Byron Taylor who is employed at Kimberly, Nevada, came in Tuesday morning returning to the Nevada town the same day with his wife. Mr. and Mrs. Martin L. McAllister McAllis-ter left Monday for Hinckley to spend two weeks with relatives. Miss Lucile Gates left Monday for Palo Alto, Calif., to spend the remainder re-mainder of the summer. Miss Maurine Whipple returned Sunday from Salt Lake City where she spent the past three weeks. Dean Clark of the St. George Drug Co. spent the fore part of the week in Salt Lake City on business. The K. K. K. 4-H club met at the home of Miss Nellie Marshall on Wednesday. Setting a table and serving serv-ing a meal was demonstrated. FOR SALE Jos. Worthen home in southwest part of town. Snow and family spent Saturday and Sunday at Navajo lake. Mrs. Violet Church returned Monday Mon-day from Joseco, Nevada, where she spent the past month with her daughter, Mrs. Willard Simpkins. Smith of Tucson, Ariz., brother of Walter and Pratt Smith, arrived in St. George Monday and is associated with Pratt in the Dixie Fruit Market, in which he has acquired ac-quired an interest. Dr. and Mrs. Lawrence C. Snow and family arrived in Salt Lake City the fore part of this month from Philadelphia where they spent the past; two years. Dr. Snow studied orthopaedia. He is a Dixie boy and for several years prior to this trip east made his home at Park City. Mrs. Glenn Heaton and daughter have returned to Cedar City after visiting relatives here. Miss Grace Miller returned last Friday from DesMoines, Iowa, where she spent the past year with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Miller. Miss Virginia Prisbrey returned on Friday from Fillmore where she spent two weeks visiting her sister, Mrs. Daniel Russell. Wprd has been received here of the birth of a daughter to Mr. and Mrs. James S. Gregerson of Salt Lake City.
