Show J SERVICES MONDAY FOR WESLEY SIIAMP Funeral services were held at 5 o'clock Monday afternoon in the S stake tabernacle for Wesley Jesse Shamp who passed away at 11 that morning at the home of his mother, Mrs. Rhoda Cook, from leakage of the heart and other com-S com-S Plications from which he had been suffering the past three months. $ Services were under the direction of Harold Snow of the South ward bishopric. The ladles chorus sang two numbers, num-bers, "Sometime We'll Understand" and "Unanswered Yet." Prayers were offered by Elders George Wor-.. Wor-.. then and Brigham Jarvis, Sr. f Vocal solos were given by Mrs. Hettie Bentley and Job F. Hall. The speakers were Brigham Jarvis Sr and James MtArthur. Harold Snow, In behalf of the family, thanked all friends for the many acts of kindness shown them during the long illness of deceased and after his death. Interment was m the city cemetery. Wesley Shamp was born in Bloom-wgton Bloom-wgton on August 4, 1913, a son of 3 Thomas and Rhoda Carpenter I Shamp. He was a second year high school student and was active in B.v Scout work. Besides his mother and father, he is survived by two sisters, Ellen and -UVern and one brother, Orvel. |
