Show NOTICE TO WATER USERS State Engineer's Office, Salt Lake City, Utah. September 15, 1927. Notice is hereby given that the St. George and Santa Clara Bench Irrigation Irri-gation Company, whose principal place of business is St. George, Utah, has made application in accordance with the requirements of Sec. 8, Chapter 67, Session Laws of Utah, 1919 and 1925 to change the place of storage of 920 acre feet of water which was to have been stored by virtue of application No. 3196 in reservoir located in the NWUSW'i Sec. 26, NSEU Sec. 27, T. 40 S., R. 17 W., S. L. B. fe M. Said water has heretofore been diverted at a point which bears S. 25 31' W. 2552 ft. from the NE cor. Sec. 32, T. 39 S., R. 16 W S. L. B. & M. and stored in aforesaid reservoir from which it was to have been released and used to irrigate the lands described as follows: fol-lows: 7348 acres of land embraced in the E'iSWU. It is now proposed to divert the water as heretofore here-tofore and store same in a reservoir known as the Carter Reservoir the center of the impounding dam of Tvhich bears N. 19' E. 2310 ft. from the EU cor. of said Sec. 25. Said water will be released and returned to the natural channel of Santa Clara Creek at a point S. 86' 45' E. 3505 ft. from the N"W cor. of Sec. 28. T. 40 S., R. 17 W., S. L. B.. fc M. thence allowed to flow down the natural na-tural channel of Santa Clara Creek from whore it is to be reuivcrtod as heretofore into the St. Geort'e and Santa Clara Bench Canal and used as heretofore to irrigate the lands described above. This application is desicnated in the State Engineer's Office as File No. a983. All protests against the granting of said application, stating the reasons therefor, must be by affidavit in duplicate, accompanied with a fee of J1.00, and filed in this office within thirty (30) days after the completion of the publication of this notice.
