Mr. and Mrs. James Jennings, Stephen and Miss Augusta Jennings Jen-nings attended the golden wedding wed-ding celebration of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hall of Hurricane, Saturday. Miss Arvilla Graff, our primary pri-mary teacher, is quarantined with scarlet -fever. Mrs. Arch Ballard has taken her place at school. This is the only case of the disease in town. J. F. Montgomery is home after an extended stay in Pi-oche, Pi-oche, Nevada. All of the high school students stu-dents came in from their respective re-spective schools to spend the holidays. Mrs. Stephen Jennings and Mrs. Elwin Ballard and infant sons have returned home from St. George. Mrs. Ross Angell and Mrs. Perry DeMille spent Monday in St. George on business. Gideon Graff of Santa Clara was a visitor here last Thursday. The junior league entertained at a Thanksgiving party at the home of Miss Fae DeMille on Thursday evening. Sunday school conference was held here last Sunday. Stake officers of-ficers and visitors from Hurricane Hurri-cane were Frank Barber, Or-man Or-man Weight, John Judd, Miss Rosalba Gubler and Miss LaRue Barber. Mr. and Mrs. Art DeMille spent Friday visiting relatives in La Verkin. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Hirschi spent Wednesday in St. George. |
