Show ROCKVILLE J JJOCKV1LLE, Jan. 3. School commenced here Monday morning in the basement of the new church building. Many New Year parties were held Saturday and Sunday evenings eve-nings for all ages. Everyone seemed to be filled with a spirit of optimism. ! Mrs. Alton Eai'.ard entertained entertain-ed at a birthday , rarty Monday in honor of Mr. Bailard. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Arch Ballard, Grafton; Mr. and Mrs. i George Worthtn. Mr. and Mrs., Vernon Worthen and Mr. and ! Mrs. James Feterson of St. : George; Mr. and Mts. Harry Slack, Toquervi'.'.e, and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Lemmon and children chil-dren of Hurricane. Born iA daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Newell K. DeMille on Christmas day. Mrs. Marvin Terry and children chil-dren spent Monday in St. George. Boyd Dennett of La Verkin spent Monday here. Perry Robinson of Salt Lake City is here visiting relatives. Mrs. Alton Jones is home after af-ter a visit of several weeks in St. Geoige. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Hirsehi and children spent Monday and Tuesday in Hurricane. Art DeMiKe made a business trip to Hurricane Monday. Mrs. Henry Covington and children are home from a Christmas Christ-mas vacation in St. George. The family of Alma Hirsehi has been ill with flu. |
