Show ENTERPRISE Ranger Swapp moved his family fam-ily here from St. George to Bpend the summer. The clinic held here Monday the 21st with Dr. Presturch in charge was a splendid success. Seventy-eight p r e-s c h o o 1 age children were weighed, measured and thoroughly examined, two tonsil oerations performed, and many older children and some grown-ups gone over. It was a strenuous day for Doctor and nurses but their efforts are greatly great-ly appreciated by the people of Enterprise. As a little token of appreciation apprecia-tion for Miss Burt's efforts in our community, the ladies held a surprise party in her honor Tuesday evening. It was held at the home of Mrs. Mary Holt and a very pleasant evening of games and candy pulling was indulged in by a large crowd of mothers. Mrs. Mary Bentley entertained a crowd of her friends at a social and rag-bee Thursday afternoon. af-ternoon. Mrs. Nora Lamoreaux of Para-gonah Para-gonah is here to spend a few weeks with her mother, Mrs. M. A. Huntsman. Albert Holt, L. M. Terry and B. C. Famsworth attended the missionary reunion in St. George Saturday night. The Central baseball team came here for a game with the Enterprise team Sunday. The score at the end of. the game was 7 to 4 in favor of Central. B. C. Farnsworth and L. M. Terry have been assisting with the land classification in Pinto. Central. Pine Val'py. Mr. and Ms. Will nrnum spent Sunday in St. George visiting visit-ing with Mrs. Barnum's mother, Mrs. M. A. Snow. They will leave Tuesday for Mina, Nevada, where Mr. Barnum has work. |
