Show "VASHINGTON The ca-rrot growers of this place have realized a good sale for their crops this xyear. The only trouble was there weren't enough carrots raised. Everyone cleaned up their patches and could have sold as many more. The handling Of the crop by contractors, Staheli and Sproul was more satisfactory than for several years, the growers re-, ceiving fifteen cents for a dozen j bunches for the entire crop. Mrs. Woodrow Staheli is Visiting Visit-ing with her husband at Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Laron Andrus-of St. George visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Larson. Lar-son. Mr. Andrus was one of our speakers in Sacrament meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Hannig, Mr. and Mrs. Smith Hannig. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Nisson Mr. and Mrs. Denzil Sproul and family all ofj Pioche visited with friends and relatives here over the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Neilson announce the marriage of their daughter, Velma to William Uiel of Springville on Friday June 21. in the St. George Temple. A reception re-ception was held Thursday evening even-ing at the home of the bride's parents. Lois Neilson accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Judd and family to Cedar Breaks Saturday. Hyrum Turnbeaugh whe has been ill during the past year and a half was much improved until a sudden relapse took place Thursday but he is again showing improvement. Linda Larson has been ill dur ing the past week with septic sorei throat. j Lillie Prisbrey is at Panguitch visiting friends and relatives. Mrs. George Hall, Mrs. George Thayne, Miss Phebe Hall, and Bert Miss LaVoun Tobler was a visiting vis-iting relatives and' friends at Ce-i dar City.
