Show SMALL SON OF LOCAL PHYSICIAN DIES AFTER SHORTJLLNESS ' Dean Lewis Reichmann, 2 year old son of Dr. and Mrs. Wilford Reichmannv died Thursday night of intussusseption of the bowels. His sickness was first noticed on Wednesday afternoon when he complained of pain in his intestines. intes-tines. Dr. Reichmann gave him treatments but his pain continued and Thursday afternoon Dr. McGregor Mc-Gregor was called in for consultation consul-tation and it was decided by the doctors that it would be necessary to operate. The operation took place that evening but it was dis-; dis-; covered that his condition was too far along for help and he died soon after coming off the operating operat-ing table. Dean was born, August 1, 1933 in 3t. George. Until his final sickness he had enjoyed good 1 health and had been a happy dis-positioned dis-positioned child. Funeral services were held in the tabernacle on Friday at 5:30 p.m. under the direction of Bishop Bis-hop Harold S. Snow. The many beautiful floral offerings and large number who attended the funeral ' attest to the love and respect of the community for little Xean and his parents. The opening prayer was offered by Elder Orval Hafen of the Stake1 Presidency. v Musical numbers were: "I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say," by Mrs. Mamie Paxman and Mrs. Viola Gentry. A vocal solo, "Face' to Face," by Dilworth Snow. A vocal solo, "Boy of Mine," by Dr. D. A. McGregor and a vocal duet, in the Garden," by Mr. and Mrs. Pratt Miles. Speakers were Elder Eric Snow and President W. O. Behtley. Both expressed the love of the community for Dr. and Mrs. Reichmann and told of the fine qualities of each and of their love for their children and the sorrow the community felt at the passing of little Dean, and prayed that the Lord would bless the family in their sorrow. The closing prayer was offered by Elder Wilford W. McArthur of the Stake Presidency. Interment was in the St. George City cemetery and the grave was dedicated by Bishop Arthur K. Hafen. Dean is survived by his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Reichmann, Reich-mann, his brother, Lawrence, his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Moody, and his paternal pater-nal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Reichmann, of Bait Lake, City, who attended the funeral. Others from out of town attend-j ing the funeral were: Mrs. James F. Robinson, and two sons, of Salt Lake City and Clare F. Gardner Gard-ner and three boys, of Delta, ' Utah. j |
