Show BUNKERVILLE Wb had as home missionaries here last Sunday, Elders Harold Reber and Shumway of LitUeficld. Their talks were interesting and instructive. The M. I. A. presented a play entitled "Thirteen Plus" on Tuesday Tues-day night. A matinee was given on Monday night. Overton high school met Virgin Valley High school in another basketball bas-ketball game last Friday night. The score was 33 to 44 in favor of Bunkerville. Bishop and Mrs. Fish have had two very sick children the last two weeks but they are improving rapidly at this time. Mrs. John Horsley of Veyo is in town in the interest of geneol-ogy. geneol-ogy. The CCC boys gave a free dance last Saturday night and a largfe crowd was in1 attendance. Mrs. Annie C. Cox's new home is almost completed. The painting paint-ing is in 'progress. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Bunker have moved to Las Vegas as Mr. Bunker has employment there Mr. and Mrs. Vernon C. Rowley of Blanding visited here last week. They were the guests of Mrs. Rowley's Row-ley's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Leavitt. They also visited Boulder Boul-der Dam while here. The CCC camp is working on breakers north of town to protect the farms from the spring floods. |
