FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. IRENE GIFFORD DAY Mrs. Irene Gifford Day, wife of George Day, of La Verkin, passed away at the local hospital Tuesday morning, at 3:15, after undergoing undergo-ing a major operation a short time before. Funeral services were held at La Verkin on Wednesday, February Febru-ary 20th, at 2:00 p.m. Mrs. Day was born October 2nd, 1890 at Springdale, Utah. She was married to Gc.-cefc Day of Delta, Del-ta, Utah, October 2nd, 1918. To them was born one son, Garth D. Her husband, who was in the mercantile mer-cantile business for fifteen years died in November, 1933. She is survived by her son and the following four sisters and one brother: Mrs. Bertha Matthew of Virgin, Utah; Mrs. Elsie McGee of Draper, Utah; Mrs. Harriet Kemp of Midvale, Utah; Mrs. Hannah Tuttle of Salt Lake, and Cyrus Gifford of La Verkin, Utah.
