Show TOQUERVILLE Toquerville, Oct. 14. The B. A. C. college class passed through here Saturday on their way to Zion canyon. can-yon. They stopped here on their return re-turn to get fruit and nuts. They reported re-ported a wonderful time while in the park and at the La Verkin hot springs and other places of interest. This bunch of students are real live wires, and we would like to see more of them. The M. I. A. started here Suuday evening with a large enrollment. The officers of the organizations are real wide awake, and our ward expects ex-pects the best mutuals ever held in Toquerville. The school gave a dance Friday night to obtain funds to get a basket bas-ket ball outfit. There was a Targe crowd out and a very nice time was enjoyed. A. T. Wakeling is in Iron Springs where he has taken over the boarding house and expects to be there all winter. win-ter. Mrs. Rose Gregerson of St. George spent the week end here visiting at tne home ot Mrs. A. E. Gregerson. Henry Bringhurst and Howard Kleinman have gone to Gunnison, where they have employment. Mrs. Nancy Eager of Hurricane is here visiting her daughter, Mrs. L. H. Bringhurst. ( |
