Show ! CENTRAL : November 2 7th ! Mrs. Nello Leavitt has gone to : Bunkerville, Nevada to spend Thanksgiving. The Relief society held their i ward conference in meeting Sunday. Sun-day. A very interesting program was given. Leslie Meyers spent the weekend week-end here from the CCC camp at ; G unlock. Ezra and Andrew Lytle left Sun-! Sun-! day for Barkley, Nevada on busi-' busi-' ness. j Royal Hunt and Alpine Chad-burn Chad-burn returned Monday from Los Angeles, California. The school children gave their Thanksgiving program Tuesday-night Tuesday-night in Mutual. After mutual the Daughters of the Pioneers entertained. en-tertained. Lunch was served, and old time dancing was enjoyed. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Stratton and son, Albert spent the weekend week-end in St. George. Mrs. Norvel Bracken,. Mrs. Vivian Viv-ian Bracken, Reid and M. E. Bracken were St. George visitors on Wednesday. Miss Ada Burt was here Tuesday Tues-day on business. Mrs. Ellen Bentley and Rudy Lortz were here in the interest of the relief work. Charlie Darling of Las Vegas is visiting at the home of Miss Marion Bracken. Clyde Gray and Neal Bracken went to St. George on Wednesday. December 5 John Cannon of this place and Miss Arvetta Terry of Enterprise, Utah were married Friday night at the home of Bayard Cannon. The young couple left Sunday for Zion to live. Mr. and Mrs. Norvel Bracken and family were Gunlock visitors for ThanVcpiuincr Jay Bracken has returned to Zion after visiting here a few days with his parents. Miss Ina McArthur spent the Thanksgiving holidays in St. George. Milton Moody was in town Monday Mon-day on business. Mr .and Mrs. Leland Lamoreaux and Albert Strattpn spent the week-end at Stratton's ranch. Daniel Leavitt went to St. George Monday on business. Ray Burgess has been visiting friends and relatives here for the past week. H The Primary Ward conference was held Sunday in Sacrament meeting. The children gave their program well. Mrs. Esther Chadburn ' went to Panaca, Nevada on Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Jim Price who are moving there for the winter. Leslie Meyers has returned to the CCC camp at Gunlock. Reid and M. E. Bracken were business visitors at Cedar City on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Gleave were visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Keyes on Tuesday. |
