Show SPRINGDALE Springdale, April 11. Alice Gif-ford Gif-ford who has been crippled for some time with rheumatism, slipped and fell in going out in the yard. Her leg was badly bruised and she is unable un-able to leave her bed. Howard Ruesch and family have returned from the mountain where he had been at work on his farm. The lovely storm we have been having has done much good to the farmers and also the dry farms. Elders D. Cox and David Dennett were missionaries here today. They gave us some good instructions. Vergie Christenson has returned from Salt Lake where she has been working since October last. The trail workers have been obliged ob-liged to stop work on account of the storm. Wesley Dennett the nine-year old son of Mrs. Adelia Dennett, is ill. Harold Russell and son Leland have gone to Provo, on business. Lyle Winder and wife made a business busi-ness trip to Hurricane yesterday. We do not think that frost has damaged the fruit much here. The infant baby of Jess Gifford has smallpox, very light. Mrs. J. J. Gifford has returned from Salt Lake. |
