Show $58,000 DISBURSED TO UTAH SCHOOLS Disbursements of more than $58,-000 $58,-000 among high schools of the state was announced Monday by Dr. C. N. Jensen, state superintendent. This is the final apportionment of the current school year made from the receipts collected under the state high school tax levy of two-tenths of one mill. These receipts reached a figure where $5.56 could be disbursed dis-bursed as a state endowment for every child attending at least 20 weeks of high school and carrying a passing standard or at least three-fourths three-fourths of a high school course. Last year the disbursement was $5.74 but there were only 23,246 high school pupils qualified while this year there are 24.409 high school pupils eligible. Washington county school district received $683.53. |
