Show SPRINGD ALE A social for all stake and wards holding offices in the mutual mu-tual was held here Friday night. They had a nice program and lunch after which the evening was spent in dancing. Miss Iona Ruesch is visiting here from California. John Hepworth and member: of his family of Idaho are visiting visit-ing friends and relatives here. Elwood Dennett had the misfortune mis-fortune to get four fingers of his left hand taken off in the shingle mill at Orderville. Robert Woodbury and A. Noble Kimball were with us in our sacrament sac-rament meeting. Their talks were enjoyed by all. Quite a number of our people attended the temple excursion Friday. i Mr. and Mrs. I. H. Langston were in St. George last week on business. Reed Gifford had the misfortune misfor-tune to cut his foot while getting wood with the scouts on Saturday. Satur-day. The Parent-Teacher association held their meeting Saturday night. Miss Rhoda Andrus, one of our teachers, spent the week-end in Kanab. The Daughters of Utah Pioneers Pion-eers met Thursday at the home of Edith Hepworth. Jay Crawford and Arnold Ruesch are on the sick list. Mrs. Vera Allred was in Cedar City on business last week. Elias Gifford has been working in Hurricane. |
