Show TOQUERVILLE Mr. and Mrs. S. R. Wilkinson and family returned home Monday Mon-day after attending the funeral of Mrs. Wilkinsen's mother, Mrs. M. J. Bringhurst. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Thurber and Mr. and Mrs. Jepperson of Provo returned to their home Sunday after attending the funeral funer-al of their mother, Mrs. M. J. Bringhurst. Mrs. Howard Bringhurst returned re-turned home Saturday from the Cedar City hospital where she had a major operation. Mrs. R. J. Naegle and infant daughter returned home Saturday Satur-day from the Cedar City hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Empey of St. George attended the funeral of Mrs. Empey's grandmother Mrs. M. J. Bringhurst. Miss Hilma Beatty spent the week-end here from Cedar City where she is attending the B. A. C. Rulon Beatty left Saturday for Los Angeles. Vernon Slack of Cedar City i visiting relatives here this week. Joe Batty, son of George I. Batty was hurt in a coal mine Sunday when it caved in on him. He is reported to be getting along satisfactorily. Many people from St. George, Hurricane, Cedar City, La Verkin, Rockville, and Leeds attended the 'funeral of Mrs. M. J. Bringhurst. Bring-hurst. Miss Virginia Anderson returned return-ed Tuesday from Salt Lake City where she has been visiting for the past month. Speakers at our sacrament meeting were Harvey Hall and Mr. Roundy of the Hurricane Ward. |
