Show MILFORD MAN KILLED AS CAR TURNS OVER AND CRUSHES HIM Spencer Schow, 3 6, former railroad rail-road employee of Milford, was instantly killed Saturday at 2:30 a.m. when the car he was driving overturned on Belvue Black ridge about thirty miles north of St. George, pinning him beneath it. John Cottam, Washington county coun-ty sheriff, who arrived soon after the accident, reports that there were four in the car, two men and two women, who claim that they had been to the La iVerkin hot springs for a swim and were returning to Cedar City when the accident occurred. The car had turned over and crushed Schow who was sent to Cedar by car. The information of the accident was carried to Cedar by an inter-state bus driver. driv-er. The two girls were also brought to Cedar by the bus. William H. Brnyles. who wa.s with Schow, remained wilh the car until a wrecking car arrived from Cedar, states Sheriff Cottam. |
