Show COURT CASES SET FOR NOVEMBER i i Judge LeRoy H. Cox today set the following court cases on the local calendar: November 25, Amos Cox vs. Dixie Power Company; November 27, Mrs. Enuna Vincent vs. Wan. Brooks, et al.; November 29, A. Lauret vs. the Virgin Dome Oil Co. Judge George W. Wbrthen of Provo will take the bench here in these actions. Judge Cox being disqualified. Ho returned home Wdnesday evening after clearing the Beaver county docket. Wednesday morning in Beaver he sentenced the first woman violator to appear before him. She was found guilty by a jury on a liquor law violation vi-olation and was fined $299 and given a Jail term of 90 days. This was her second conviction on a similar charge. Wednesday afternoon in Cedar City Judge Cox sentenced the car thieves who were caught near Enterprise En-terprise two weeks ago after stealing steal-ing a machine in Iron county. They wre given one to ten years in the state penitentiary. Each had loir: criminal records. The judge will leave tomorrow for Salt Lake where he will hear several sev-eral cases before the supreme court-On court-On October 28 he will open court i Fillmore and on November 10 WU1 go to Price to sit in cases in Mch the judge of that district 's disqualified. |
