Show DISTRICT COURT District court opened here Tuesday with Judge Thos. H. Burton on the bench, since when the following disposition dis-position has been made of cases on the calendar. Santa Clara Field Canal Co., et ah, vs. New Castle Reclamation Co. et al. In 19 2 2 the Court was given jurisdiction juris-diction of the waters of the Santa Clara river, the decree being left open until 19 27, to secure certain information informa-tion as to when water should be used and quantity beneficially applied. The state engineer made a report to the Court with recommendations in the matter, also giving priority of numerous applications to appropriate water. In the original decree the Pine Valley people were required to designate, at the beginning of the irrigation season, the particular par-ticular land upon which water was to be applied, and water for that year could not be used upon any other land. Judge Burton changed the decree de-cree to permit the Pine Valley people peo-ple to use the water on all the land they see fit to irrigate in Pine Valley. All-American Oil Co. and Uzona Oil Co., plaintiff, vs. Lee Cox et al, defendants; motion for new trial by defendants- overruled and denied by Judge Burton. The case of the St. George-Clara Field Canal Co. et ah, vs. New Castle Reclamation Co., et ah, is now being heard.
