Show Rex Jenkins dies in SLC Hex Thomas Jenkins, r(), formerly of Lapoint, died Sunday, March 20, l!lti:l lit the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City. Jenkins was the son of the late Frank and Mable Harrison Jenkins. He is survived sur-vived by seven sons and daughters, Handy Han-dy Thomas and Kicky Kdward of Vernal, Kathy and Lisa of Orem, Heed of Payson, and Uenee of Idaho. Surviving brothers and sisters include David Jenkins and Mori Horrocks of Lapoint, Frank Jenkins and Pearl Preeie of Craig, Colo., Francis Lou Price und Keva Workman of Roosevelt, Karl "Nick" Jenkins of Payson and Jack Jenkins of Hellvue, Wash. Jenkins was a graduate of Alterrn High School, in Alterra in 19.r0. He served serv-ed in the LI S. Marines for four years and later sont 20 years in the oil fields as a driller and pusher. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Satur-day, March 2ti at noon in the I-apoint Chapel. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 7 toy p.m. at theOlpin Mortuary Mor-tuary in Roosevelt. Viewing will also bp held one hour prior to services at the I-i-point Chapel. Burial will be in the Ui-point Ui-point Cemetery. |
