Show .... V- ' 5 ' J - s i i ;; I , s i V, , . j t Mary May Anderson Mary Anderson dies in Mayfield Mary May Nielsen Anderson, 91 of Vernal died in May field, Utah June 10, 1983. Born May 25, 1891 in Vernal, she was the daughter of John and Frances Hig-gins Hig-gins Nielsen. She married Willard W. Anderson May 25, 1941 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a homemaker, seamstress, chorister, Sunday School teacher, Relief Society teacher and served an LDS Mission to the central states. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Camp Porter Merrell. Survivors are a brother, Lester Nielsen of Chester, Utah and stepchildren, step-children, Mrs. Ursel (Sylvia) Anderson Ander-son of Ogden, Mrs. Dewey (Flossie) Ramsdell of Bear River, Mrs. Lee (Millie) Anderson of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Parley (Arvilla) Holmgren of Bear River, Mrs. John (Valera) Adams of Medford, Ore., Mrs. Ben (Glenna) Anderson of Brigham City, Mrs. Aubrey (Clarice) Slatter of Brigham City, Kennard Anderson, Sterling Anderson both of Brigham City and Clair Anderson of Bear River City. Preceded in death by step-children, Justin Anderson, Norman Nor-man (Bud) Anderson, Mrs. Edith L. Montgomery and her husband. Funeral services were Tuesday at the Thomson's Vernal Mortuary. Burial was at the Vernal Memorial Park. Bishop Lawrence C. Kay conducted the service. Phil Manwaring, Mac Holmes and Verdin Goodrich sang, "That Wonderful Mother of Mine." Rodney Southam gave the invocation. Bishop Kay spoke, Willis Southam spoke, Marilyn Smith sang, "I Cannot Sing the Old Songs." J. Ross Merrell spoke. Marlin Smith sang, "Abide With Me." Heber Harrison gave the benediction. Ray Cunningham dedicated the grave. Pallbearers were David Perry, Joseph Perry, Phillip Manwaring, Bruce Manwaring, Rodney Southam and Shirley Price. |
