Show Accused burglar pleads guilty to reduced charge A 21-year-old Denver man pleaded guilty in 7th Circuit Court Wednesday to a pair of reduced charges in connection with his arrest for burglary May 21. The complaint against Michael Linder was amended from a first-degree first-degree burglary charge to attempted burglary and carrying a concealed weapon, both Class A misdemeanors. Linder was interuppted by Vernal police while trying to break into Milt's Merchandise Mark, 528 West Main, and was arrested later carrying a loaded .25 caliber pistol, officers testified at his preliminary hearing. Linder was arraigned June 8 in 4th District Court on the felony charge. Judge David Sam sent the case back to circuit court when the prosecution requested re-quested the charge be amended. Circuit Judge Whitney D. Hammond set July 13 as a sentencing date, and reduced Linder's bail from $10,000 to $1,000. |
