Show Job well done Dear Editor: On Aug. 17, 1982 Matthew Lohof was critically injured while performing his duties on a workover rig in the Nine Mile Canyon area. Being severely hurt, Mr. Lohof required immediate medical attention. Within a short span of time, after the accident had been radioed into Vernal, a helicopter with Sheriff Arden Stewart, EMT Beverly Weber and myself arrived on the scene to administer ad-minister aid and to transport the victim to the Ashley Valley Medical Center. Mr. Lohof was treated at Ashley Valley Medical Center and then flown by Life-Flight helicopter to LDS. Hospital, in Salt Lake City. From the time of the accident until his arrival at LDS Hospital, Mr. Lohof received the best care and service that could possibly be given. The professionalism and conscientiousness exhibited by all parties involved with the medical and transport services was highly commendable. commen-dable.
