Show BYU is Voted Best Brigham Young University nabbed all but three first place votes from 26 balloting Western Athletic Conference Skywriters and is an overwhelming choice to win the 1981 WAC football championship. The Cougars landed 23 first place votes and totalled 31 points. BYU will be chasing after its sixth straight conference crown. One point is jiwarded for first place, two for secondTctc. Hawaii was voted second behind BYU at 65 points and received one first place vote. Utah was ranked third at 89 and New Mexico nabbed fourth place at 117 and garnered one first place vote. San Diego State placed fifth at 139 and Colorado State enptured sixth place at 142. |
